From a young age my life has always revolved around music. Usually in the background din of the household some of the jazz greats were heard playing from my parent's console; most notably vocalists.

As a former music educator of 26 years, I enjoyed sharing my passion for music with secondary school students in bringing out their very best abilities to showcase their talents.

My greatest joy is performing as a solo artist with other talented musicians as we co-create our interpretations of The American Songbook, lesser known jazz standards and other well-known classic pop/rock songs. 

 

I consider myself to be a musical storyteller in interpreting the intentions of the composers who had sentiments that they wanted to share with their listening audiences. It's always a privilege to perform their songs.
